Wireless access is now available in virtually all of Goodhart, including the theater, classrooms, practice rooms, and offices. The Goodhart wireless installation is part of a larger project to upgrade and augment the existing wireless infrastructure around campus with the 3-year goal of virtually complete campus coverage. Several buildings (Guild, Canaday Library, and Dalton) have already begun to receive the new wireless technology and other buildings will be added through the academic year. In response to student requests for additional access to computers and library resources during exams, 24-hour access to Canaday Library is being offered to Bryn Mawr students on a trial basis this semester. 24-hour access will begin on Friday, December 4th at 8am and will last until Friday, December 18th at 5pm. During this time, Canaday Library will continue to be open to the entire community during the usual semester hours. After hours, the building will be accessible to students via OneCard. We are currently investigating solutions to the problems printing from personally owned macs to public printers.  We expect to have a permanent fix this week.  Please check back with this blog for status updates. Thank you for your patience.

On January 8-9, 2010, Information Services will upgrade the College Communications Center (aka Webmail) to Zimbra 6.
