Updated: Changes to Canaday Access Beginning 5/3/10

Posted April 29th, 2010 at 12:24 pm.

This post was originally published 4/21.  It was modified on 4/29 to provide further information for Swarthmore community members, and again on 6/8 to clarify access to Canaday for alumnae.  Changes are in italics (below).

Beginning May 3rd, 2010, visitor access to Canaday will change as follows:

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:

  • Monday - Friday 8 AM - 6 PM

OPEN TO TRI-COLLEGE STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF VIA ONECARD ACCESS ONLY:

  • Monday - Thursday 6 PM - midnight
  • Friday 6 PM - 10 PM
  • Saturday 10 AM - 10 PM
  • Sunday 10 AM - midnight

These changes are for the safety of our students.  They will begin Monday, May 3rd, 2010 and will continue through the coming academic years.

At this time we will also be in the midst of our 24-HOUR CANADAY period for Bryn Mawr students during exams. During 24-Hour Canaday, Bryn Mawr students may use their OneCard to gain access to the entire building after regular hours. IS student assistants will staff the building around the clock.

Access to year-round 24 hour spaces is not changing - Bryn Mawr students will still be able to access the Lusty Cup and Guild with their OneCards at any hour of the day or week.

For the duration of the Red Grooms exhibit, Canaday will also be open to the public from 1 PM - 5 PM on Saturdays.
