Zimbra email and calendar (Communication Center) will be unavailable on the evening of Friday, August 17th from 5:30 p.m. until Saturday morning. Information Services will be upgrading to a new version of the Zimbra software that is expected to address a number of minor issues.
Status updates will be posted on the IS Blog. Please keep in mind that while you may be able to log into the upgraded system before it is announced, testing may still be in process and your session may be interrupted.
Please recall that for the duration of this work:
- You will be unable to send email or access the Communication Center.
- Newly received emails will not be available until a after the upgrade is complete, and may not arrive immediately as it sometimes takes time for all emails to be delivered.
- Mobile Devices and Mail/Calendar clients will not be able to contact the server during this period.
- You may notice some hesitation on the server immediately after the upgrade as expedited backups complete and queued email is processed.
