Posted March 18th, 2013 at 11:21 am.

The librarians of Information Services will be offering workshops this Spring on several popular citation management tools:

zotero

Zotero is an open source research tool that automatically senses content, allowing users to manage bibliographic data, store web "snapshots" and curate other electronic attachments as they browse the web. Originally an add-on for Firefox, Zotero is now available for other browsers. Zotero is a full-featured citation management system recommended, particularly, for faculty researchers, graduate students and thesising undergraduates. This workshop will help users understand how to add content, manage Zotero libraries, sync between computers, use the MS Word plug-in for in-text citation, and more.

ENW

EndNote Web is the online version of EndNote citation management software. It allows users to organize references and attached files and to collaborate easily with other researchers. EndNote Web is also recommended for faculty, graduate students and thesising undergraduates.  This workshop will help users understand how to manage EndNote Web citations, import references, use the MS Word in-text citation plug-in, and more.

EasyBib Pro: Bryn Mawr now subscribes to EasyBib Pro.  This premium version of the popular free citation generator EasyBib allows users to easily create citations and store bibliographies in MLA, APA and Chicago styles. Many Bryn Mawr undergraduates already use the free edition of EasyBib. It is recommended as a basic bibliography manager for undergraduates and has pedagogical applications that faculty may want to leverage to teach citation and research fundamentals in class. This workshop will help both new and existing users get the most out of our new Pro subscription!
