Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2010 (for Windows)

Microsoft Excel, the spreadsheet application in the Microsoft Office suite, is a robust tool capable of housing, analyzing, and displaying data. Attend this hands-on 2-part series to familiarize yourself with the Excel environment, practice creating workbooks, perform basic data manipulations, use formulas and functions, create charts and tables, and much more.
This class is best suited for staff who have little to no previous experience with Microsoft Excel and would like to gain a better understanding of basic to intermediate applications of the software.
*Please note that this is a two-part series. All staff who register for this class are expected to attend both sessions.

If you are interested in learning more about Excel but you are unable to attend both classes, Atomic Learning, an online database of technology tutorials, has a robust catalog of Excel offerings (Atomic Learning MS Excel Offerings).
This class is being offered by Local Learning Support, a program that provides learning support by working alongside staff in participating departments with the goal of creating a community of technologically self-sufficient and adaptable staff. The Local Learning Support team is working with specific departments this semester, but all staff members are welcome to attend any staff education course being offered, regardless of whether or not their department is currently working with a Local Learning Support Specialist.
