Self-service and Help Desk password changes will be unavailable this Friday evening, October 11th, from 5:15 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. Haverford College’s network will be down during this time, impacting the Bi-Co password management system.

We are writing to let you know that there is a network outage scheduled for this Friday evening, from 5:15pm until 7:15pm. The outage is planned to allow our networking team to perform some necessary maintenance and add some equipment for additional redundancy. This time was selected because it is both Friday evening and the start of Fall Break, both traditionally quiet times on campus.
During the outage the campus network, both wired and wireless, will be off-line. There will be no connectivity from campus to the web, and services including authentication, Moodle, Kuali, Bionic, network printing, storage and other systems will be off-line. The public website, www.haverford.edu
, will be accessible but in read-only mode from 4pm to 7pm.
It’s important to note that this will impact both connectivity between campus and the outside world, and internally within the Haverford network and among the Tri-Co.
