FAQ - Searching within a particular folder

To limit your search results to the contents of a particular folder, put your search word or words in the search field, then type in:foldername.  For example, if I wanted to find all messages in my inbox containing the word project, then what I would type in the search field is:

FAQ - How do I make an icon on my desktop for the new Communication Center?

For Windows:

Right-click on your desktop.
Move your mouse over “New” until additional options appear and choose “Shortcut”.
When asked for a location, type “http://webmail.brynmawr.edu” (without the quotes) and click Next.
Type a name for the shortcut — we suggest “Communication Center”.
Click Finish.
Look for this icon on your desktop and double-click to access the Communication Center.

Web Editing - Configuration Change!

Note to everyone editing websites accessed via ada.brynmawr.edu:
The “server” name you use to connect to your site needs to be changed from from “ada.brynmawr.edu” to “bascom.brynmawr.edu”. Your password will be your current email/ada password (after June 6th your “web-only” password).

Password Site Now Available Off-Campus

The password site http://password.brynmawr.edu referenced in several recent posts and Quick Tips is now available from off campus. Apologies to those denied access earlier. You may now access the site and set up your reset questions. Comments welcome.

Information Services will be offering two orientation sessions on using the new email and calendaring Communications Center on the web. Come and test drive the new system in a supportive, informal atmosphere.
