How do I synchronize my Google calendar?

  1.   Go to your Google calendar site,  select “manage calendars”  and choose the calendar you to synchronize. 
  2.     At the bottom of the calendar you have chosen you will see “private address. Next to this option will be an option in green called ICAL, click this option. 
  3.     A window will pop-up with a long URL, copy that URL
  4.      Go to webmail.brynmawr.edu,  log into your email account and go to the calendar tab
  5.      Select “New Calendar”
  6.      In this window select the box that says “synchronize appointments from remote calendar”

*a window below labeled “URL” will appear, paste the address you copied from Google into this box.

    7.  Name your calendar and click ok

*If done correctly this should synchronize your Google calendar with Zimbra.

  • While this is an available feature in Zimbra, it is not a fully tested feature. Therefore, there may be difficulties you experience that the help desk can not remedy.
